Carta de Stefany Montealegre. Madrina: Verena Eberheart

Verena Eberheart

Dear Godmother:

I write these words with appreciation and enthusiasm hoping that I can tell you about some aspects of my life and to describe my feelings and thoughts.

My name is Stephany Monteazegre. I am eleven years old and I finished sixth grade at the Dario Echandia Educative Institution, I tried to have a good academic performance and it allowed me to be promoted to seventh grade, which I will do in 2008.

I live with my parents in “El Bosque” neighborhood, which is a very humble neighborhood . We live in my grandmother’s house and she gave us a room for us to live there. Our economic situation is very hard because my father is the only one that works as a welder and he does not have a stable job that allows him to have a monthly income.

I like studying a lot and I have a lot of dreams. I want to prepare myself so I can have a better future. I would like to thank you for trusting me and offering me your support, which has been very valuable in my life and I could start middle school.

You accompany me in this hard path that life is and you have offered me your unconditional support so I can grow as a person. Thank you for trusting me.

I would like to meet you. I would love to have a picture of you and it would make me really happy if I could get a letter from you.

My country is going through a winter season and there have been many floods that have left many affected families.

I hope that you and your family are very happy these holidays and that God bring success and joy to your life next year. These are my wishes and my family’s

A big hug

Yours truly,

Stefany Montealegre
