Petra Klingler

Dear Godmother,

How are you doing? I hope you are enjoying good health. My name is Jenny Katherine Camargo Tovar, I am 13 years old and study “Institución educativa Antonio Reyes Umaña” (Antonio Reyes Umaña Educative institution). I finished seventh grade this years and I had good academic results so I was promoted to eighth grade for this coming year.

I really want to thank you for trusting in me and for offering me your support. Thank you for giving me a light in the dark tunnel I was because of all the adversity and troubles that I face everyday.

I want you to know that now, I fight everyday of my life to be worthy of your trust because you have generously given me your hand so I can progress and become a good woman. Also, because I want to be an integral person who is capable of giving back to society as well as to live up to your expectations of me.

I live with my parents and my four siblings. My father works as a construction auxiliary and my mother works in different jobs, but they do not have a stable job to fulfill all the family’s needs.

I would love to have news from you or maybe to get a picture of you… hopefully it is soon!! I hope that you have a great time with your family these holidays and that this New Year brings prosperity and stability for you and your family.

I would like to tell you once again my appreciation, thankfulness and the love and admiration that I feel for you. I want you to know that I thank God for giving me the opportunity to count on you. I also hope that he gives a lot of blessings to your heart and to the people you love.

I send you a gigantic hug.

Yours truly,

Jenny Katherine Camargo Tovar
