With love and
gratitude I want to give you my affectionate greeting, wishing you are enjoying
full of wellness and health together with your lovely family.
I want to tell
you that I finished my school year with success, I did the 7th grade and I
tried to be one of the best students during the year.
I take this
opportunity to share with you what my life is. I live with my grandparents
since I was 5 years, who were the people responsible for my younger brother and
me since the death of my parents, who were victims of the armed conflict that
is lived in our country. We lived with them in a village called Leticia, near
to Ortega, a small town in Tolima. I
have responsibilities inside our home, such as collaborating with the housework
because my grandmother works in family houses and with her salary pay the
needs, as the situation is quite difficult. As you understand I miss very much
that wonderful person that have all the young people with my age, but God
wanted like this, so I have to be aware that I have to take advantage of the
opportunities that come in my way to the future, so I have to be a good person
and count with my brother support. I have to thank my grandparents for the
education that they have given to me, because I consider myself a young well
mannered, thoughtful, and obedient with desires to succeed.
I feel very
blessed that you chose me to help me to get ahead and is a privilege to think
that far from this here there is a wonderful person who believes in me, which
gives me love that is for me something unique, and be sure that I will not
disappoint you. I will try to give my best in my studies because I think is the
best way to show my appreciation.
I met Bettina;
I think she is a very special person. She visited our house and she met my
grandmother who was at that time, she took us some pictures and shared some
time with us.
The holidays
of the New Year she was with my grandparents, aunts and cousins all together,
as we live in the same house.
Well my dear
godmother, I hope that in this time of love and reconciliation you are very
happy with your family and that the New Year brings you many blessings and your
all wishes will come true.
