It is for my pleasure to greet you, wish you are enjoying very good health and enjoying this prosperous New Year 2010.
My name is Yulieth Perdomo, I am 14 years old and I am in 8th grade with good academic results in the Educational Institution Alberto Santofimio. I have to move for the violence from San Antonio, Tolima; my father died due to violence and now I live with my mother who works in different trades to respond financially for me and my 7 brothers, our situation is difficult, but with all the desire to live and energies of improve our lives we got through.
I enjoy studying and I am very clear this opportunity you have given me I'll make the most of. I tell you, because of our situation we live very retired from every where, diary I have to travel around and walk three hours before coming to school, I have to get up at 4 a.m. to make it to school on time, is a bit long but I'm used and these are small sacrifices that have to do to achieve what you want in life.
The truth my big dream is to study law, I really like and know I'm going to do with commitment, responsibility and sacrifice, with God's help I will achieve it, if I'm studying now is because he let me know you and this has was the best thing that happened to me so thanks for all godparents who have given me support and for your goodness to me, God will reward you all the help you have given me so generously.
