Dear godmother:
I thank God for giving me the chance to have a godmother like you and I promise you that I am going to give the best of me on my studies. Now I would like to tell you about school and my family. At school I have done very well and before telling you about my family, I want to tell you that I think your home is great.
I study at Francisco de Paula
There are six people in my family. My father’s name is Ramon, he is 39 and he works at a supermarket, he does pretty well at his job. My mother’s name is Nilsa and she is 39. She is a house wife and she works as a seller over the weekends. I have three brothers and their names are: David, who is 12 and is a pretty smart kid (he has earned three scholarships). Jhon is eleven and even though he is not as smart as David he is pretty intelligent. Ramon is nine and he is the youngest and most annoying one.
I love your letter and the poster that you sent me, sometimes I look at it and I wonder how your country is. I hope to see it one day.
This year I had a lot of good times but I also had some sad ones. My grandmother died and my grandpa wants to get married again. I am really happy because I met a great godmother like you and because my family is close and united.
Please say hi to your family for me and I hope that you all have a merry Christmas. Thanks a lot for being my godmother.
Yours truly,
Paola Andrea Marin
p.s. I love you a lot.
