Beloved Godparents:
I write to you because I would like to greet you and send you my best wishes.
I would also like to tell you that I had a very good academic performance and I was always one of the first ones in my class. All this accomplishments are dedicated to you because without your help I would not be finishing my studies and making one of my biggest dreams come true.
Please tell me about you; how you are doing and how this year has been for you. I always think about you and I ask God to favor you and to give many good things in both your lives and your jobs.
My mother and I are very thankful for the economic support that you gave us when the
This Christmas at home, we decorated the Christmas tree and made a representation of the nativity scene so kids could come and sing at home. On December 7th and 8th we light up candles in honor to the Virgin Mary. On December 24th we celebrate the birth of Jesus and on December 31st, we celebrate the New Year and we burn the “Año Viejo” (which is a doll that represents the year that just ended) and there are also fireworks at the stadium.
At the YMCA, I belong to the contemporaneous dance group, led by teacher Charly and thanks to his dedication; we have had many presentations in theatres and schools.
This month I am on school break so I usually play soccer with my friends in the afternoons and in the morning, I watch TV. On Sundays I go to the swimming pool with my friends and I also help my mother at home by cleaning the house, doing the dishes and sweeping.
I would also like to tell you that the government is helping us relocate our house, my mother is on the list for a new house but the help is going to take a while. In the meantime we are trying to do the paperwork necessary for getting the help.
I think it is time to say goodbye and I would like to wish you a merry Christmas and a happy new year.
A big hug,
Jose Eniht Rodriguez Vargas
